Willow Guard is a story-driven dark fantasy RPG combining difficult-but-rewarding action hack-n-slash gameplay enhanced by deck building and layers of deep choice-based story. 

Play as Ghweros, a Willowguard investigating a series of monster attacks on a remote village close to the northern Hinterlands. Discover a hand-crafted, original fantasy world full of uplifted animals, absent gods, and thousand years of buried secrets to unfold.

The tale of our brave badger continues as the party sets out for Regnum Polis, racing to prevent another monstrous breakthrough before the next Solstice. The journey from Woikos leads through the frozen Atalaka Mountains, now rendered impassable by an unnatural winter brought on by Louksna. The only safe passage lies in the use of ancient portals.

Soon, it becomes clear that some of these portals are being disrupted by an unknown entity from Alteros—the realm of monsters. On the far side of one such portal, Ghweros glimpses a small, hooded figure deftly fighting and evading the creatures of Alteros before vanishing from sight. The figure turns out to be Súri, a young wolverine orphan who soon becomes your apprentice.

• Companion: Core gameplay from the base game continues - slash, dash, and cast spells your way through increasingly dangerous encounters, now alongside the surprisingly resourceful wolverine cub, Súri. She excels in close combat and is even deadlier with ranged weapons, adding new tactical options to every fight.

• New Mysteries to Solve: When not locked in combat, Ghweros and Súri continue their investigation into the secrets of the portals, Nexus Glyphs, and Ghantor’s Cult. Use an innovative clue-and-item gathering system to uncover hidden truths, solve new mysteries, and gradually unravel the deeper story behind the events threatening Woikos.

• Build Your Character: Willow Guard features a non-traditional progression system. Instead of standard leveling, you grow stronger by improving your gear, expanding your deck with new abilities, and mastering the game’s mechanics. Your choices shape what kind of Willowguard you become through the Inclination system, influencing the fate of Woikos—and possibly the entire world. In this expansion, Ghweros must also learn what it means to be a worthy mentor to his young apprentice.

• Craft, Upgrade, Loot: Crafting cards and upgrading equipment requires materials gathered through combat, dungeon runs, quests, or trading with the trusted and always resourceful Merchant. Choose how to spend your resources wisely and build the perfect combination of gear and abilities to face the evils that plague Tersa.
